Welcome to Memphis Country Club

Since its creation in 1905 by a small group of friends, The Memphis Country Club has grown to become one of the country's outstanding private clubs.

Our Donald Ross designed, par 70 course, has held many prestigious local and national events including four USGA Men’s and Women’s amateur championships and proudly hosted the first Women’s amateur in 1937 won by golfing legend and Memphis Country Club member, Margarite Gaut.

The Club’s Tennis program has hosted numerous USTA tournaments and is the home to some of the finest teaching professionals in the world.

Memphis Country Club is currently undergoing major renovations throughout the property. Tennis renovations will include a new, 6 court, indoor tennis complex, 10 pickleball courts, and two outdoor stadium courts. The Clubhouse will enjoy a newly renovated Dining Room and new adult casual restaurant with surrounding Terrace overlooking the golf course.

Memphis Country Club is fortunate to have a full, supportive, and generous membership with an incredibly talented staff
